Who We Are

Founded in 2009 by Dr. Gregori, Objective Medical seeks opinions of truth regardless of the referral source. Dr. Gregori leads a team of highly esteemed professionals to provide a full-service medical-legal consulting practice. We can assist with cases in multiple specialty areas regardless of size and complexity. Our experts’ opinions are well-supported not only by their experience but by the latest science and practice guidelines. Our experts maintain an unbiased and objective approach to rendering opinions and answering referral source questions. We keep a balanced workload serving both defense and plaintiff cases, as well as the Indiana Workers Compensation Board. We are always available for a free consultation to discuss how we can best assist you with your medical-legal needs.

Robert Gregori, MD

As founder of Objective Medical, Dr. Robert Gregori’s professional experience covers essentially all aspects of musculoskeletal, neurologic and rehabilitation medicine. As a physiatrist, he is well suited to assess an individual’s functional impairment and disability after an injury. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners.

Robert Gregori, M.D.

Dr. Gregori graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University of Chicago in 1980. He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois Medical School in 1984. Dr. Gregori completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan in 1987, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Gregori served as Director of Physiatry with OrthoIndy thru 2006.

In 2009, Dr. Gregori started his forensic medical company, Objective Medical, and now dedicates the majority of his practice to medical legal consulting. With the success of Objective Medical, Dr. Gregori started Objective Diagnostics in 2011 (a cost containment diagnostic scheduling company); and Objective Surgical launched in 2013 with innovative outpatient surgical services offering global pricing for all aspects of surgery and post-operative care.

Dr. Gregori has an unlimited license to practice medicine in Indiana. He is considered an expert in musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions to include traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and complex orthopedic injuries. In his spare time, Dr. Gregori enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. His favorite past times include fishing, bird watching and playing with his grandkids.

Edward Negovetich, MD

Dr. Negovetich has practiced outpatient physiatry full time since completing his residency and has been Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation as well as the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He presently offers a variety of outpatient musculoskeletal services including electrodiagnostic testing.

Edward Negovetich, M.D.

Dr. Negovetich graduated from Wabash College and then received his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Negovetich has practiced outpatient physiatry full time since completing his residency and has been Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation since 2007. Presently, he works with Wellspring Pain Solutions at their Batesville, Columbus and Greenwood, Indiana locations and offers a variety of outpatient musculoskeletal services including electrodiagnostic testing.

Dr. Negovetich remains on the active medical staff at Margaret Mary Hospital in Batesville, IN where he has had privileges since 2006. In addition, he is a member of active medical staff at Columbus Regional Hospital since 2015 and was on the active medical staff at Decatur County Memorial Hospital from 2006 until his resignation in 2014 when he joined Wellspring.

In his spare time, Dr Negovetich keeps busy by attending or coaching one of his three children’s athletic events or other extra-curricular activities. He and his wife enjoy attending collegiate and professional athletic events, concerts and an occasional night out for dinner without the kiddos.

Tom Verhovshek, Ph.D.

Dr. Verhovshek received his doctorate in Neuroscience and psychology from Indiana University Bloomington, and a post-doctoral fellowship in traumatic brain and spinal cord injury at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He currently serves as Director at Objective Medical.

Tom Verhovshek, Ph.D.

Dr. Verhovshek graduated from Indiana University Bloomington and then received his doctorate in neuroscience and psychology from Indiana University Bloomington in 2010. Dr. Verhovshek then completed a post-doctoral fellowship in traumatic brain and spinal cord injury at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 2012. His post-doctoral studies focused on neuroprotective/neurorehabilitative strategies to restore motor function following traumatic brain or spinal cord injury. He currently serves as Director at Objective Medical, where he has been since 2013.

Dr. Verhovshek enjoys all manner of outdoor activities including backpacking with his wife, running, and biking. He also enjoys trying new restaurants, seeing live music and playing with his two Weimaraners.

Erica Gregori

Erica is our Business Development Coordinator. She graduated from IUPUI in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She went on to do Neuropsychological testing until starting her position at Objective Medical in 2015, as case coordinator. In her spare time, Erica enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two daughters.

Allexa Antrobus

Allexa is our Executive Administrative Assistant and has over 14 years of experience in health care. She has an Associate of Applied Science, Health Science in Medical Administration and graduated from Indiana University Kokomo in 2022 with a BAS in Health Care Management. Allexa enjoys spending time with her significant other and two sons as well as reading, sports and being outside.
